College::Lacrosse coach is filling painful void
All the tears have fallen. All the memorials are up. All the hysteria has faded.
Finally, the St. Mary's College women's lacrosse team has put the nationally publicized death of program pioneer Diane Whipple on the back burner. Whipple was killed when she was mauled by two dogs outside her San Francisco apartment in January 2001.

High School::Lacrosse experience pays off for Yellow Jackets
Berkeley, which had a boys club team for 18 years before lacrosse was sanctioned as a high school sport by the California Interscholastic Federation for the 2002 season, is 10-1 this season and 2-1 in the Bay Area Conference.
